Sustainability Promotion System
With the aim of maintaining sustainable growth, the Company established the Sustainability Promotion Committee (currently Sustainability Committee) in April 2022 to deliberate matters related to sustainability, including climate change. The committee is chaired by Representative Director, President & CEO, and Director, Managing Executive Officer & CSuO (Chief Sustainability Officer) serves as the person in charge. The committee monitors internal initiatives on a periodic basis and deliberates and discusses future initiatives. Matters deliberated by the committee are reported to the Board of Directors, which evaluates our sustainability initiatives by incorporating opinions from the viewpoints of Outside Directors as well. In addition, the Corporate Sustainability Department was newly established in April 2023. The department serves as the secretariat to the committee under the direction of CSuO, and is accelerating the initiatives of the entire Group.
