Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Yuji Funawatari, hereinafter “DJK”), a general machinery trading company, announces that its U.S. subsidiary, DAIICHI JITSUGYO (AMERICA), INC. (“DJA”), will exhibit at Solid-State Battery Summit 2026, to be held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from August 11 to 12, 2026.
At its booth, DJA will showcase a wide range of products and technologies from manufacturers in Japan and other countries involved in the research, development, and production of next-generation batteries. Through proposals tailored to customers’ needs at every stage, from initial evaluation and implementation to addressing specific challenges, DJA supports efforts toward the commercialization and mass production of next-generation batteries.
Main Exhibits
■Powder Processing Solutions for All-Solid-State Battery Materials (FREUND-TURBO CORPORATION)

These comprehensive powder processing solutions cover multiple stages like grinding and classification to mixing and dispersion, surface modification, and dry granulation for powdered raw materials such as cathode materials, anode materials, and solid electrolytes. By utilizing optimal equipment tailored to material properties and applications, the solutions enable uniform, high-precision material processing while contributing to greater production efficiency and lower costs through energy savings and process integration & the elimination.
■Electrolytes and Additives for Next-Generation Batteries (Zain Energy Inc.)

Zain Energy offers Z-AR, an additive for electrolytes used in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. When added to conventional electrolytes, Z-AR promotes improved battery performance, longer service life, and greater stability. The company also offers Z-ARPE, an additive that enables semi-solidification, and Z-ARLYTE, a flame-retardant electrolyte that can replace conventional electrolytes. Proposals for electrolytes and additives tailored to different battery applications contribute to improving the performance and safety of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
■Dry Coater for All-Solid-State and LFP Batteries (SFA NEXEL CO., LTD.)

This equipment directly coats electrodes with solid mixtures of active materials, conductive materials, binders, and other components without using solvents. Drawing on the extensive experience and technologies the company has developed as a manufacturer of press equipment, it supports uniform powder feeding, double-sided coating, high-precision thickness control, and roll-gap control. Individual temperature and pressure control for each roll, together with a multi-roll configuration designed with mass production in mind, supports uniform electrode formation.
■Inkjet Coating Equipment for Forming Solid Electrolyte Layers (Panasonic Production Engineering Co., Ltd.)

This equipment ejects solid electrolyte material as fine droplets to form a thin, uniform solid electrolyte layer on the electrode. Its advanced inkjet technology, offering high precision and reproducibility, enables uniform coating and the formation of ultrathin films ranging from single-digit to double-digit micrometers. This contributes to increased battery capacity and the manufacture of electrodes with low interfacial resistance to the solid electrolyte. Inkjet heads and equipment can be designed and manufactured to suit applications ranging from R&D and pilot production to mass production.
