The Tokyo Sports Promotion Company Certification system, administered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, certifies companies that promote sports activities among their employees or provide support in the field of sports. The certification is valid for three years.

This certification system, administered by Japanʼs Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), is a government certification scheme established under the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing. In light of the societal transformation driven by digital technologies, the system certifies companies that meet the requirements necessary to promote digital transformation (DX), including a management vision, business strategies, an organizational framework, and an appropriate IT systems environment.
