Daiichi Jitsugyo to Exhibit at “iPSC 20th Anniversary Symposium" at Kyoto International Conference Center
Introducing the All-in-One Automated Cell Culture System that Integrates Cell Culture Automation, Data Management, High-Precision Pipetting, and Image Analysis into a Single Platform

Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & COO: Yuji Funawatari, hereinafter “DJK”), a general machinery trading company, is pleased to announce that DJK will exhibit at “iPSC 20th Anniversary Symposium", held at Kyoto International Conference Center in Japan, from October 20 to 22.

The "iPSC 20th Anniversary Symposium" is an international symposium held in Kyoto—the birthplace of iPS cell technology—to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its discovery. Bringing together stem cell researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals from around the world, the symposium provides a forum to reflect on the remarkable progress made over the past two decades and look forward to the future of iPSC research, covering key themes such as basic research, technological innovation, disease modeling, clinical applications, and ethics and policy.

At this symposium, DJK will introduce the All-in-One Automated Cell Culture System developed by Panasonic Production Engineering Co., Ltd.

All-in-One Automated Cell Culture System
This system is an automated cell culture platform designed for the culture and differentiation processes of iPS cells, stem cells, and other cell types. By automating routine culture procedures—such as medium exchange and passage—that traditionally relied on the manual skills of experienced technicians, and by utilizing a closed system to minimize external environmental impacts, the system reduces workloads, minimizes operator-induced variability, and stabilizes culture quality. It supports efficient, highly reproducible cell culture for regenerative medicine and drug discovery research.

Key Features

  • Automation of Cell Culture Procedures
  • Automates a series of essential culture tasks, including medium exchange, cellobservation, and passage, contributing to labor savings and enhancedreproducibility.

  • Stable Culture Environment
  • The closed culture environment minimizes external influences, enabling stable andconsistent cell culture.

  • Culture Condition Monitoring
  • Supports cell status assessment and quality control through cell image acquisitionand condition monitoring.

  • Flexible Protocol Configuration
  • Allows customizable culture conditions and operating procedures tailored tospecific research objectives and cell types, accommodating a wide range ofexperimental needs.

  • Support for Data Management and Traceability
  • Centrally manages information such as culture vessels and experimental histories, enhancing the efficiency of data analysis and record keeping.

  • Remote Monitoring and Notification Functions
  • Enables users to check the operating status and culture conditions remotely, withalert notifications facilitating prompt responses in the event of abnormalities.
