Exhibition “Taiwan Industry Week 2026”
Showcasing Power and Cooling Solutions for Data Centers

Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Yuji Funawatari, hereinafter “DJK”), a general machinery trading company, will exhibit at "Taiwan Industry Week 2026," a comprehensive industrial trade exhibition to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from October 20 to 22, 2026.

As the adoption of generative AI drives growing demand for the construction and expansion of data centers (hereinafter "DCs"), the need for early commencement of operations and improved energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important. At its booth, DJK will introduce equipment that supports the early availability of power and solutions designed to reduce power consumption and environmental impact through advanced thermal management technologies for containerized DCs.

■ Power Solutions
As demand for new DC construction grows around the world, securing a reliable power supply for the commencement of operations has become a critical challenge. DJK addresses this challenge by providing solutions that leverage its ability to supply power equipment within significantly shorter lead times.
By incorporating Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) that leverage existing gas supply infrastructure, DJK enables operators to secure a power supply without relying solely on grid electricity. In addition, through partnerships with manufacturers across the supply chain and by leveraging its global procurement capabilities, DJK can deliver UPS systems equipped with HOBE ENERGY’s semi-solid-state batteries with short lead times. This helps minimize operators' opportunity losses caused by extended delivery times for backup power equipment and supports the early commencement of DC operations.

■ Cooling Solutions
To address the enormous amount of heat generated by AI servers, DJK provides cooling systems through an engineering structure that goes beyond the conventional role of a trading company.
In addition to offering high-performance coolant distribution units (CDUs) that reduce power consumption at DCs while efficiently cooling high-density servers, DJK has integrated liquid-cooling piping design and heat dissipation control technologies to deliver comprehensive thermal engineering solutions.
DJK also proposes a hybrid cooling system that combines these advanced liquid-cooling technologies with waste heat recovery technology, enabling effective use of heat generated during power generation. Through the introduction of this system, DJK aims to achieve a power usage effectiveness (PUE)* of below 1.1, a world-class performance target, while meeting the needs of DC operators seeking to reduce both environmental impact and operating costs.

*PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness):The ratio of total DC power consumption to the power consumed by IT equipment (such as servers). A value closer to 1.0 indicates higher energy efficiency.
