Environmental Management System
System for Promoting the Environmental Management System
Since January 2004, we have operated an environmental management system (EMS) based on ISO14001 to systematically promote the reduction of environmental impact.
We have designated the Representative Director, President & COO as the top management and Executive Officer, General Manager of Administration Division as the person in charge of environmental management. Based on our environmental policy, the EMS Promotion Committee plays a central role in implementing the PDCA cycle and making continuous improvements. Through this system, we are accelerating our initiatives to address climate change in terms of both risks and opportunities.

To enhance company-wide activities, we assign multiple EMS committee members to each headquarters division and to branch and sub-branch offices, where they continuously promote EMS activities.
In operation and management, we include not only items directly related to the environment, but also items such as occupational safety management, promotion of competency development, and business continuity measures, so that we can raise employee awareness through the operation of the EMS.
Acquired ISO14001 Certification
Our domestic business sites (excluding the Toyama office) have obtained certification for ISO14001, the international standard for environmental management.
External Audit
DAIICHI JITSUGYO undergoes an annual ISO 14001 certification review conducted by the Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality. Most recently, between April 2024 and March 2025, we underwent a renewal review, resulting in the successful renewal of our certification and an evaluation of conformity with the standard’s requirements. The latest certificate is valid through April 18, 2027.
